Want to get involved with the Texas Exes? Below are opportunities to do just that. Please contact us if you are interested in finding out more information or are ready to jump right in.
- Sport Committee: Organize sport watching events throughout the year. We need people to greet our members and help run our events.
- Social Events Committee: Organize and coordinate events, happy hours, monthly social events, professional mixers and most importantly, the Annual Salt Lick BBQ & Student Send Off.
- Membership Committee: If you like meeting new people and would like to help recognize and encourage membership in the Texas Exes, including welcoming people at the game watch parties, join the Membership Committee!
- Scholarship Committee: If you have good ideas and a desire to plan events, are good at soliciting donations or sponsorships or would like to be involved in raising money for and selecting local scholarship recipients, we want you!
- Project Worldwide Committee - If your passion is doing good in your community, we want you to join our committee.
- At Large Volunteers: Don't want to be tied down to one committee but are willing to jump in on a specific project now and then? Let us know and we'll email you when we need volunteers.
- Professional Networking: We have a few MBA alumni looking to put on some networking events in the spring. We'd love help on this new committee!
- Ex4Tx Team: The Office of Admissions is looking for alumni volunteers to assist with the several college fairs in the San Diego, CA area this fall.
